2022 Gift Giving Ideas: For The Home

It can be a challenge purchasing a great gift for someone that doesn’t need anything. Also, guessing what size or color they wear can be just as stressful. With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, here are some gift ideas that would be welcome in any home. Kitchen: Knife set. Most knife sets offer a nice sharpening feature that includes a variety of different sized knives for preparing all types of food. This makes a wonderful gift that can be appreciated all year long. Dishes. ‘Tis the season to purchase beautiful holiday plates but try to keep a more neutral theme that can be used after the holidays are over. Hand towels and rugs. Who doesn’t love a fresh, new hand towel to dry the dishes? Try to find holiday hand towels and rugs that match. There are many adorable patterns available, I recently found a 6-pack of holiday towels for Christmas, Easter, Halloween and more available in a one-gift set. Coffee or Tea. This gift can be as simple as gourmet coffee and an adorable new coffee mug; or as lavish as a new coffee maker. There are also digital mug warmers and decorative travel mugs. One of my favorites is the electric tea kettle that boils water super-fast. Wrap a box of unique tea bags for the tea lover to try something new. Immersion Blenders. These are perfect for people who don’t have a lot of counter-space. These blenders are great for making berry smoothies and more. Bathroom: Electric Toothbrush or Waterpik. Help keep those pearly whites shiny and clean all year long with an electric toothbrush or waterpik. Towels. Throughout the year we all need to replace some unwanted towels that have seen better days. Select a neural color to blend with any décor. Bath mat. Stepping onto a fluffy, soft or cushy bath mat after a shower provides another gift to enjoy all year long. Living Room: Candles. There are so many styles and varieties to choose from including: traditional wick candles, wood wick candles (that crackle), wax melts for candle warmers; even battery-operated candles to provide a soft, candle-like illusion. Holiday Décor. Choose from pillows, blankets, snowmen, ornaments, snow globes, wall décor, candy dishes, cookie trays, centerpieces, wreaths, picture frames, garlands and more. Smart Home Devices Finally, smart home devices – anything from a simple smart plug to a television, smart thermostat, fire alarm, doorbell, security cameras and more. These all make fantastic gifts for both a smart home enthusiast, and will surely save on time, money and headache. I hope these gifts for the home provide you with some great ideas and offer you a “stress-free” shopping experience.
